Updated over a week ago

The subscriber card in Rule gives you a complete overview of each subscriber's information, activity, and segmentation. In this guide, we'll dive into the different parts of the subscriber card and show you how you can use them to better understand and engage your subscribers in a smarter way.

1. Subscriber Information

In the left panel, you'll find an overview of the subscriber's key details, all gathered in one place:

  • Email address – The primary identifier for the subscriber.

  • Phone number – If the subscriber has shared their phone number, you’ll see it here.

  • Language – This shows which language is set for the subscriber, allowing you to tailor the communication.

  • Status icons – Keep track of whether the subscriber is active or has opted out of marketing by viewing the icons.

2. Tags and Segments

In this section, you get a clear overview of which tags and segments the subscriber belongs to. Need to dive deeper into how tags and segments work? Check out our guide for a more in-depth understanding.

Directly in the subscriber card, you can also easily add or remove tags the subscriber should belong to.

3. Notes

Here, you have the option to add internal notes directly in the subscriber card to document important information.

4. Activity

The right panel provides a detailed view of the subscriber's latest activity and interactions.

  • Activity – Here, you can see everything related to mailings, including whether the subscriber has opened, clicked on, or unsubscribed from a mailing.

  • Subscriber fields – All subscriber fields available for this subscriber.

  • Orders – Here, you can see order information submitted for this subscriber.

5. Manage

In the top right corner, you'll find Manage. Here, you can change the type of marketing the subscriber can receive and even completely block them from all forms of marketing.
