Litium Integration

The Litium integration connects Litium with Rule and automatically synchronizes customer, order, and cart data.

Through the integration, you can use data from your e-commerce platform to create segments, automated customer journeys, and personalized communication via email and SMS.

The integration sends events from Litium to Rule when customers interact with the shop, complete purchases, or have their orders shipped.

Tag

Data sent to Rule

Description

CartInProgress

Subscriber & Cart Data

Applied when a cart is updated and can be used for scenarios such as abandoned cart communication.

OrderCompleted

Subscriber & Order Data

Applied when an order has been confirmed.

OrderShipped

Subscriber & Order Update Data

Applied when an order has been shipped.

All events sent to Rule require that the customer can be identified through an email address. If no email address is registered on the cart, no data can be synchronized to Rule.

For the integration to work correctly, the customer's email address must be updated in the cart when logging in or during the checkout process.

Installation

A step-by-step guide for the integration can be found in Litium's documentation below:

Historical Order Synchronization

If you want to start using Rule with existing order history, previous orders can be synchronized to Rule.

Litium includes a historical synchronization feature that allows all previous orders to be sent to Rule. The synchronization can be paused, resumed, and monitored directly within Litium.

Please note that if a historical synchronization is run multiple times, duplicate order records may be created in Rule, as previously synchronized data is not automatically removed.
