"Direct Retrieval" can be used to extract content from your website or e-commerce. This approach removes the need to manually create content for products or articles.
Instead, Rule automatically pulls the content directly from your website or e-commerce by inserting a link into the email. Once the newsletter is sent, all content is automatically retrieved from the specified link.
What you need to set up internally
You need to create an HTML page that contains only the content to be retrieved. This should not be a regular page with a header, footer, or other elements, as shown in the example below.
The HTML code should include only the snippet that will be placed in the middle of the template, meaning it cannot contain elements like <html>, <head>, <title>, <meta>, <style> or <body>.
Tips for Creating an HTML Page for "Direct Retrieval":
Use inline styles to style page elements.
Design the page so that it looks the same on both desktop and mobile devices.
Do not add media queries with styles for mobile devices. Instead, create HTML code that automatically adapts to the device's screen width.
