Quickbutik Integration

This article explains how to integrate Quickbutik with Rule.

Overview

By integrating Quickbutik with Rule you can easily create beautiful, personalized customer journeys via email, SMS, and automated marketing. Once you connect your Quickbutik, you can automatically start collecting newsletter subscribers at checkout and in the store, and gain access to order data that lets you segment customers and send relevant, automated campaigns based on their behavior.

How to Connect Rule to Quickbutik

  1. Log in to Rule, navigate to Settings > Developers, and create a new API key (or copy an existing one):


  2. Go to your Quickbutik dashboard and navigate to Settings > Newsletter:


  3. Enable Rule by clicking the toggle switch:

  4. Paste your API key into the field and click Save:


  5. Done! Your Quickbutik is now integrated with your Rule account.

Usage

  • The next time a customer places an order and/or opts in to your newsletters, those contacts will be tagged in Rule accordingly.

  • The Newsletter tag is applied to everyone who subscribes to your newsletter manually, whether via checkout or within the store (newsletter sections).

  • The OrderCompleted tag is applied for all orders and customers who finalize a purchase.

  • Order information such as product data, currency, and customer details is automatically synchronized to Rule at the moment of purchase.

In addition, email and phone number data is also passed to Rule.


Notes / Additional Info

  • Synchronization of order data begins from the moment you activate the integration with Rule — orders placed before activation will not be automatically synchronized.

  • However, it is possible to export past orders and import them as a CSV file into Rule. See our guide on how to import members and data.
