How do you test for spam filters?


In this article, we will go through how to test for "Spam filters". To ensure that you avoid spam filters unnecessarily, we recommend that you review the SPF settings for your domain. SPF stands for Sender Policy Framework and in short, it clarifies the authorization to send emails via your domain.


Note
You cannot include multiple SPF domains in the TXT, but must combine them in one TXT box. So you can only have one SPF record. If you have more, you combine them into one, and it will work.


Here's how:


  1. Go to the page https://www.mail-tester.com/ now the page will be displayed as shown in the image below.
  2. Copy the test address: xxxx@mail-tester.com shown in the white box, see the example image below.
  3. Go to Rule, Paste the copied test address into the preview field in your Rule campaign, see the image below.
  4. Then go back to https://www.mail-tester.com/ and click on the blue button "Then check your score"




Now your mailing will be graded, see the example image below.
