Accessibility in your campaigns

To ensure that your campaigns have a good readability index (LIX), which is a measurement of the text's complexity and readability, we have a feature in Rule that goes through this as well as the entire campaign's statistics. We provide a summary of: the number of words, the number of sentences, the number of long words, average sentence length, the number of long words, and TTR (Type-Token Ratio).

How does it work?

For those of you creating the email, you have the "Accessibility" tab, which displays a range of tools to get your content just the way you want it.

For the recipient, they can click on "Click here to read the newsletter online," which will bring up a menu displaying several customizations they can make to the email. They can shorten long paragraphs, remove images, and more, all to make the content as digestible as possible.
