Abicart integration



With Abicart integrated to Rule, you can collect order history, customer, product, and behavioral data, which gives you insights for segmented, personalized, automated, and data-driven communication.

Installation


The first step is to connect your e-commerce to Rule in Abicart


  1. Create an API key in Rule. Go to 'Settings' > 'Developer' > Create new API key > Name the API key > Copy
  2. Log in to Abicart
  3. Under 'Settings', choose 'Apps' and then 'Rule'
  4. Activate the integration
  5. Once the integration is active, you can change the settings for how and when data is sent to Rule. We recommend having the following settings under "Account settings".
  6. Log in to Rule and make sure that if you check 'Export all customers', all existing customers in Abicart will be sent to Rule, as well as all historical orders.
  7. Save


Now that you have completed your settings, log in to your Rule account and make sure that your subscribers have been transferred from Abicart. It may take a few minutes for all data to be transferred. Read more about setting up the integration at Abicart.

Tags on subscribers


When subscribers are created in Rule from Abicart, different tags are set. It is determined by which subscriber groups are linked to each subscriber. It can be seen under the customer card in Abicart. The example below has the groups "B2C" and "Gold Member" and then these tags are created in Rule for subscribers who have the groups linked in Abicart. If the subscriber has also booked in the "Newsletter" box, this tag will also be set for the subscriber.
