What does ALT-text mean?

Sometimes email images are not displayed correctly, especially on narrow screens such as mobile phones and tablets. By including an alternative text (ALT-text) that briefly describes each image, you can still convey the meaning of the image to those who cannot see it. Another advantage of using ALT-text on images is that it increases deliverability and reduces the risk of an email ending up in the spam folder, especially for Gmail users. It is definitely worth taking a little extra time to fill in this field when working with images in Rule.
