RCS Messages
RCS is a new message type based on the same principles as SMS and MMS but offers greater possibilities for including more information and combining media and text in various layouts to create a more detailed and visually engaging message.
Support for RCS depends on the recipient’s mobile device, the device’s software, and the recipient’s mobile carrier.
If an RCS message cannot be delivered to a specific recipient, you have the option to create a fallback SMS.
RCS
To create a new RCS message, click on "New Campaign", select "Text Message", and then choose the message type under "Rich Communication Messages".
Here, you can also see the price for each RCS message.
An RCS message can contain up to 200 characters in the title, 2,000 characters in the description, and up to 4 buttons.

You can see the character count in the meter below the text box, both here and under the Title section.

Here, you can add buttons to your message. You can edit the button’s function, text, and destination link.

Summary
Under summary you can see how many RCS messages will be created per recipient, the cost per RCS, and the estimated total cost based on the number of recipients.
Keep in mind that the estimated cost is for all recipients. Those who cannot receive RCS messages will instead receive a fallback SMS—if you have chosen to create one.
We only charge for RCS and SMS messages that are successfully delivered to the recipient.
Fallback-SMS
A fallback SMS ensures that if the recipient’s device or carrier does not support RCS, an SMS will be delivered instead.
This allows you to ensure that members who cannot receive RCS messages still receive a version of your message, so no one misses your communication.
A fallback SMS can be written manually, generated automatically, or you can choose not to send one at all. If you opt out of sending a fallback SMS, the recipient will not receive either an RCS or an SMS.
It is important to note that each fallback SMS is charged based on the recipient’s SMS rate, which varies by region.
